Huawei confirms 25 November launch for Mate 80 Series and Mate X7 Foldable

 

Huawei has officially announced a flagship launch event scheduled for 25 November at 2:30 PM China time. As per tradition, this is the time when the company will unveil the new flagship, which in this case, is the Mate 80 series as well as the foldable Mate X7.

 

What’s in the Mate 80 Lineup?

The Mate 80 series is expected to include four models: the standard Mate 80, Mate 80 Pro, Mate 80 Pro Max (replacing the previous “Pro+”), and the Mate 80 RS Master Edition. Highlighted upgrades include support for 3D face recognition across all models, a side-mounted fingerprint reader, and a distinctive red-maple coloured camera module. Initial first-look teasers of the Mate 80 series reveal a unique dual-ring layout on the back of the Pro Max model: an upper circle for the camera module and a lower ring likely for magnetic accessories or charging.
