New OPPO smartphone leak – “PLT120” spotted on MIIT

A new OPPO smartphone with the model number PLT120 has appeared on China’s MIIT listing, signalling that its launch is imminent. So, what should you know about it?

 

It could be an entry-level or mid-range phone

Based on initial information, it is expected to be a budget or lower-midrange device, likely from the OPPO A series. This device features a 6.75-inch HD+ display, a large 6830mAh battery and a relatively thick body weighing 216g.

Moreover, it is powered by a 2.4GHz octa-core processor, up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage, complete with network support including 5G. The OPPO PLT120 also offers a 50MP + 2MP dual rear camera system along with an 8MP selfie camera.

Additionally, that includes key features such as a fingerprint scanner, facial recognition, and basic sensors. While information such as the chipset and charging speed has not been revealed, more details are expected to emerge after the next certification process.

As usual, the device is likely to be officially launched in China in the next few weeks.
