FUJIFILM X-T30III and instax mini LiPlay+ Malaysia release: A compact flagship and a hybrid instant camera, starting price at RM938
FUJIFILM Malaysia is making headlines this November with the launch of two standout imaging products: the compact powerhouse X-T30III and the hybrid instant camera instax mini LiPlay+. Both are being showcased at the “Hold Your Moment” Roadshow at The Campus Ampang, which runs until 23 November 2025.
The X-T30III
The FUJIFILM X-T30III continues the legacy of the X-T30 series, delivering professional-grade performance in a sleek, lightweight body weighing just 378g. It is powered by a 26.1MP X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor and the high-speed X-Processor 5, offering twice the image-processing speed of its predecessor. The camera introduces AI-powered subject detection autofocus that reliably tracks people, animals, vehicles, and more. It supports 6.2K/30P, 4K/60P, and 1080/240P video recording with 4:2:2 10-bit internal output, and includes digital image stabilisation for smooth handheld video.
A new Film Simulation Dial — first seen in the X-T50 and X-M5 — allows users to creatively switch between 20 film looks, including REALA ACE and NOSTALGIC Neg., with three customisable slots for personalised “recipes”. Usability is enhanced with a tilting 1.62-million-dot LCD monitor, built-in pop-up flash, and wireless printing compatibility with all instax Link series printers.
The X-T30III Body will be available from 24 November 2025, while the Kit version (with XC13-33mmF3.5-6.3 OIS Lens) launches on 5 December 2025. Priced at RM4248 and RM4898 respectively, both come with Early Bird gifts worth RM1354, including a Lexar 64GB SD card, NP-W126S battery, RM500 lens voucher, and extended warranty.
The instax mini LiPlay+
Also making its debut is the instax mini LiPlay+, a premium hybrid instant camera that is the first selfie camera in the instax series. It features an LCD monitor for previewing shots and a new “Layered Photo Mode” that overlays selfies onto background images. The instax mini LiPlay+ Soft Bundle, which includes one camera and one pack of plain film, launches exclusively in Malaysia on 6 November 2025 at RM938.
The “instax Sound Album” feature lets users compile up to 10 sound-embedded images into a slideshow-style video with background music, while the enhanced Direct Print function allows voice messages to be added to smartphone photos before printing. FUJIFILM also introduced a new “Soft Glitter” film with subtle gold accents to elevate the printing experience.
Roadshow Highlights: Giveaways and Nintendo Mario Special Edition Set
The “Hold Your Moment” Roadshow invites visitors to explore FUJIFILM’s full imaging lineup — from digital cameras and instax printers to QuickSnap and colour negative films. The event features interactive activities such as free instax photo sessions using the FUJIFILM X Half and instax mini Link 3, fresh flower giveaways, and a Spin-the-Gashapon booth offering exclusive FUJIFILM merchandise. Weekend visitors can also enjoy photo walks, workshops, and complimentary coffee, creating a vibrant space for photography lovers to connect and learn.
In addition, FUJIFILM is showcasing two limited-edition instax collaborations. The instax mini 12 Butterbear Special Edition Kit brings Thailand’s beloved character to life in a charming package, while the instax mini Link 3 Nintendo Mario Special Edition Set offers a nostalgic treat for gamers and photography fans alike. Both sets are available for preview at the roadshow.
