2026 Samsung Odyssey Gaming Monitor release – World’s first 6K 3D glasses-free display and more

Samsung Electronics recently announced their new 2026 Odyssey gaming monitor lineup. Featuring the world’s first 3D glasses-free display in 6K resolution, the monitors include the Odyssey G9, Odyssey G6 and 3 Odyssey G8 models.

World’s First 3D glasses-free 6K gaming monitor?

The highlight of the lineup remains the Odyssey 3D or G90XH which offers a 32-inch 6K resolution display with 165Hz refresh rate boosted to 330Hz through Dual Mode and a 1ms GtG1 response time. Utilizing real-time eye tracking it dynamically adjusts depth and perspective according to the viewer’s position.

More World’s Firsts?

There’s also the 27-inch Odyssey G6 or G60H which offers a world’s first 1,040Hz gaming monitor through Dual Mode and native QHD support up to 600Hz. The 32-inch Odyssey G8 on the other hand offers 6K resolutions at native 165Hz with Dual Mode for up to 330Hz on 3K mode.

Following this is the 27-inch Odyssey G8 or G80HF with 5K resolutions and native support for up to 180Hz. Dual Mode boosts up to 360Hz in QHD. This just leaves the 32-inch Odyssey OLED G8 or G80SH with a 4K QD-OLED panel using a 240Hz refresh rate, Glare Free viewing, 300-nit brightness and VESA DisplayHDR™ True Black 500 certification.

Set for display at the CES 2026 from 6 January 2026 to 9 January 2026, there’s still no price tag, much less a Malaysia release date or pricing details for these new Samsung Odyssey gaming monitors.
