Today, Infinix officially unveiled the Infinix SMART 20 in Malaysia. It is a budget-friendly smartphone starting from RM399, positioned as a reliable daily companion for users who want practical features without stretching their budget.
The SMART 20 Tech Specs and Features
The Infinix SMART 20 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G81 Ultimate chipset, alongside a respectable 5200mAh battery. On the front, it features a 6.78-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and adaptive refresh rate support helps balance performance and battery efficiency.
A standout feature of the SMART 20 is its Pure Voice Calls technology. Using voiceprint-based noise reduction, the device can recognise and prioritise the user’s voice while minimising background noise. Additionally, there is also UltraLink Free Offline Contact, a feature that enables communication via Bluetooth without relying on mobile networks. Users can send messages or make calls within a range of up to one kilometre, making it useful in areas with weak signal coverage or during outdoor activities like hiking and large events.
The SMART 20 comes with an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance and is built to withstand drops of up to 1.5 metres. It also features a responsive touch interface that works even with wet or oily hands. Despite its rugged build, the phone maintains a slim 7.7mm profile, making it the thinnest device in the SMART series.
Last but not least, the SMART 20 also enhances convenience with NFC Touch Transfer. This allows users to quickly share files, photos, and videos, including cross-platform transfers with iPhone devices. The feature also supports faster installation package transfers, improving usability compared to previous SMART models.
Pricing and Availability in Malaysia
The Infinix SMART 20 is available starting 3 April 2026, through online platforms (Lazada, Shopee, and TikTok Shop) and authorised retail stores across Malaysia. The 4GB + 64GB variant is priced at RM399, while the 4GB + 128GB model is available at RM449. Colour options include Sunlike Orange, Cloudline Blue, Polaris Titanium, and Shadow Black.
