Today, Proton is refreshing its plug-in hybrid lineup with a new visual update, introducing an Emerald Green finish for the Proton e.MAS 7 PHEV. The new colour expands the existing palette and is now available for booking across all variants in Malaysia, giving buyers more choice without changing the vehicle’s core specifications.

Different Look, Same Features

The Emerald Green option joins existing colours such as black, white, silver, grey, and blue, adding a more premium and distinctive aesthetic to the lineup. According to Proton’s EV arm Pro-Net, the addition reflects customer feedback and aims to enhance the overall ownership experience by offering more personalisation options.

Under the hood, the Proton e.MAS 7 PHEV remains unchanged. It continues to feature a 1.5-litre hybrid system paired with an electric motor, delivering a combined output of around 262 PS and 262 Nm of torque. The fuel consumption is still as low as 4.3L per 100km, while intelligently switching between EV, hybrid, and engine-driven modes depending on driving conditions.

Depending on the variant, it offers an electric-only driving range of up to 146km and a combined range of nearly 1000km, making it suitable for both daily commutes and longer journeys. You can read more about the e.MAS 7 PHEV in our news coverage right here.

Despite the new colour option, pricing for the model remains the same. The lineup starts from around RM105800 for the Prime variant after rebates, with higher trims reaching up to RM125800. For buyers, it adds a new aesthetic option without affecting pricing or performance, making it easier to choose a variant that better matches personal style while retaining the same hybrid efficiency and value proposition.
