Disney+ Malaysia updates subscription pricing from 18 December 2025, starting at RM29.90 per month

 

Once again, Disney+ subscription plans in Malaysia will see revised pricing. The change is coming to both Basic and Premium plans, starting 18 December 2025. Here’s everything you need to know about the incoming price hike, what it means for you, and comparisons. 

 

The New Monthly Fees

Disney+ subscribers should have gotten the email notification by now. But if you haven’t, the Disney+ Helpdesk has listed the following revised prices. The Disney+ Basic Monthly Plan will be RM29.90 per month, while the Disney+ Premium Monthly Plan will cost RM49.90 per month. The Premium Quarterly Plan will be RM99.90 per quarter.

Despite updates to monthly and quarterly plans, the annual subscriptions remain the same. The Disney+ Basic Annual Plan continues at RM214.90 per year, and the Premium Annual Plan stays at RM289.90 per year.

 

How the Price Change Affects Existing Subscribers

Subscribers who signed up for the Basic Monthly, Premium Monthly, or Premium Quarterly plans before 18 December 2025 will see the new pricing applied in their billing cycle on or after this date. If a billing period ends before 18 December but payment is processed on or after the effective date, the new rates will also apply.

 

Cancellation Options

Existing subscribers can cancel at any time through the Disney+ Help Centre. If cancellation occurs during an active billing cycle, users will retain access until the end of that period, but no further charges will be incurred. Disney+ does not provide refunds or credits for partially used billing cycles.

 

Third-Party Subscribers

For users who purchased Disney+ through a third party, billing, account management, and cancellations follow the third party’s process. Subscribers are advised to consult the provider’s help centre or support channels for guidance. Unifi and Astro will probably make their announcement regarding this matter soon.

For comparison, below are the current prices for the plans before the new ones come into effect in December:
