At the end of last week, JETOUR Malaysia officially introduced the JETOUR T2, a new adventure-oriented SUV with the tagline “Dare to Dominate”. The model combines turbocharged performance, intelligent all-wheel drive technology, modern connectivity features and a bold boxy design aimed at standing out on Malaysian roads.
The JETOUR T2 Specifications
Powering the JETOUR T2 is a 2.0-litre turbocharged direct-injection (TGDi) engine that produces 180kW of power and 375Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 7-speed dual clutch transmission (7DCT) to deliver responsive performance. The SUV is also equipped with JETOUR’s Intelligent XWD all-wheel drive system, which offers 7+X drive modes that automatically adjust torque distribution depending on terrain and driving conditions.
This system is designed to improve traction, stability and control whether drivers are navigating city traffic, cruising on highways or tackling rough surfaces. The vehicle rides on 255/60 R19 alloy wheels, reinforcing its rugged stance and off-road readiness.
Visually, the JETOUR T2 adopts a muscular, upright silhouette that emphasises its off-road character. Exterior highlights include auto LED headlamps, an illuminated “JETOUR” wordmark light signature and distinctive light ray LED rear taillamps.
A rear-mounted spare tyre further reinforces its adventure-ready identity, while an electric suction back door adds convenience for daily use. The SUV is offered in three exterior colour options including Khaki White, Aviation Silver and Carbon Black.
The Interior Features
Inside the cabin, the JETOUR T2 features a 15.6-inch multimedia display that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Drivers can also interact with the vehicle using the “Hello Jetour” voice assistant, which can control navigation, climate settings and media functions through voice commands. Additional features include a 50W fast wireless charger and a 12-speaker premium audio system from Sony.
The SUV’s interior is designed with leatherette seats, front memory seats with a welcome function, and ventilated front seats to keep occupants cool. The cabin also includes multi-colour ambient lighting and a panoramic sunroof that enhances the sense of space inside the vehicle.
Safety and Driver Assistance
Safety is another key focus for the new SUV. The JETOUR T2 has received a 5-Star rating from ASEAN NCAP. The vehicle comes equipped with six SRS airbags, a Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), and a Panoramic View Monitoring System that provides a 360-degree view around the vehicle, along with a transparent chassis function. A Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) is also included to improve driver awareness and help maintain optimal safety during journeys.
Pricing, Warranty and Launch Promotion
In Malaysia, the JETOUR T2 is priced at RM156800 and is backed by a 7-year or 150000 km vehicle warranty, along with a 10-year or 1 million km powertrain warranty, reflecting the company’s focus on long-term ownership confidence. As part of the launch promotion, the first 3000 registered customers will receive a RM2000 cash rebate.
During the event, JETOUR Malaysia also signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Turtle Conservation Society of Malaysia.
