With a whole exhibition hall to itself at CES 2026, Samsung will have many products to showcase. Among them will be new TVs and soundbars, which are included in Samsung’s portfolio. In fact, Samsung already has some news on the audio side.
Samsung HW-Q990H
According to Samsung, several new soundbars will be showcased at the CES 2026 exhibition next week. The first one is the flagship HW-Q990H soundbar, which sees the debut of the new Sound Elevation technology. This tech enhances dialogue by ‘lifting’ it towards the centre of the screen for more natural-sounding audio. How it works is currently unknown, but we expect to learn more at CES 2026.
Other features that will debut with the Samsung HW-Q990H are Auto Volume, which ensures consistent volume across the 11.1.4-channel system. Speaking of that, the HW-Q990H features a 7.0.2-channel main soundbar, 4.0.2 rear speakers, and two compact active subwoofers. There’s also an AI tuning feature included.
Samsung HW-QS90H
Next up is the Samsung HW-QS90H, a more affordable variant with a 7.1.2-channel system. It has nine wide-range speakers and a built-in Quad Bass Woofer system, all packed into a soundbar for a relatively more compact build. It also has a Convertible Fit design that makes it suitable for wall-mounting and regular desktop use.
In terms of features, the HW-QS90H uses a built-in gyro sensor. This sensor was designed to help the soundbar adjust channel distribution based on orientation, so you can place it however you like and not worry about the audio sounding different.
Music Studio series
Besides the new soundbars, Samsung plans to unveil two new Wi-Fi speakers. According to the company, the Music Studio 5 (LS50H) and Music Studio 7 (LS70H) offer a “wider range of sound system combinations than before”. The first is a 3.1.1-channel audio speaker with spatial audio, Samsung’s Audio Lab Pattern Control tech, and AI Dynamic Control.
On the other hand, the Music Studio 5 is a smaller speaker featuring a 4-inch woofer and dual tweeters. This speaker also has a built-in waveguide for a clear and balanced sound, plus AI Dynamic Bass Control for deeper low tones. Other features include Wi-Fi casting, access to streaming services (like Spotify), voice control, and Bluetooth connectivity.
No news on prices or availability, but expect to hear more next week at Samsung’s The First Look exhibition in CES 2026. Until then, stay tuned to TechNave for more news like this.
