It has been a while since Wuling entered the Malaysian market from China. Today, the company opened bookings for its upcoming Bingo EV, allowing interested buyers to secure a unit via its website.

Locally Assembled to Unlock Lower Price

According to sources, the Bingo EV will be locally assembled (CKD) by Tan Chong Motor at its Segambut plant, helping to make the car more affordable for Malaysians. The company has indicated that the EV will be priced below RM100000 once it hits the market.

Specifications

From the website, buyers will have two options: the Bingo Pro comes with a 31.9 kWh LFP battery, delivering up to 333 km under the CLTC cycle; the Bingo Max features a larger 37.9 kWh pack, offering 410 km of CLTC range. Both variants support 50 kW DC fast charging, allowing the battery to go from 30% to 80% in around 35 minutes.

The EV hatchback shares a practical city‑car format, featuring LED headlights, dual 10.25‑inch screens (for the instrument cluster and infotainment), leatherette upholstery, and a 310-litre boot expandable to 710 litres when the rear seats are folded. Safety-wise, the Bingo EV comes with six airbags as standard.
