TQ Wuling Bingo tour

Remember the TQ Wuling? The small electric vehicle (EV) brand, which is a collaboration between Tan Chong Motor Group and SAIC-GM-Wuling Automobile Co. Ltd, has announced that its Wuling Bingo hatchback will arrive on the local market this December.

The small hatchback was first shown to the public during the Malaysia Auto Show (MAS 2025) and was later previewed once again during a tour in August. As we mentioned before, the EV will be locally assembled (CKD) and is expected to be priced below RM100,000.

The full specifications of the car are yet to be known. However, the model is already available in Indonesia, where it is offered in two variants: Long Range and Premium Range. Taking that as a reference, design-wise the Wuling Bingo features X-shaped headlamps and a two-tone finish. The headlight design is mirrored at the rear of the car with its taillights. Other design elements include 15-inch wheels.

The EV’s interior features ceramic glaze textures and plush synthetic leather trimmings. Additionally, it comes with a 10.25-inch dual-screen floating island central entertainment system. The driver also gets a six-way powered seat, along with an electronic parking brake with auto hold.

The Long Range variant of the Wuling Bingo is equipped with a 31.9-kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, offering a CLTC range of 333 kilometres. The Premium Range version, on the other hand, upgrades to a 37.9-kWh battery, extending the range by 77 kilometres to a total of 410 kilometres. Charging via AC power at 3.3 kW takes about 9.5 hours for a full charge, while DC fast charging enables the battery to reach 80% capacity in roughly 35 minutes.

As mentioned above, these are the specifications expected of the Wuling Bingo in the local market. Nevertheless, the full specs of the EV hatchback will only be revealed during its debut in December.
